Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Slip Studio ("we," "us") collects, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to our website at slipstudio.netlify.app, our checkout, and our design services.

1. Information we collect

• When you subscribe: your name, email address, X (Twitter) handle, and billing country and ZIP code, collected through our Stripe checkout. Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly; we never receive your full card number.
• When you work with us: what you send us by DM or email, such as your handle, logo, brand colors, picks, odds, results, and captions, plus our messages with you.
• When you visit our website: our host (Netlify) automatically logs standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and operation. Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies on our site.

2. How we use it

• to create and deliver your graphics and provide customer support;
• to process payments, manage your subscription, and send receipts and service notices;
• to keep business records and meet tax, accounting, and other legal obligations;
• to prevent fraud and keep our services secure.

We will only feature your graphics in our portfolio or posts with your permission.

3. How we share it

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us run Slip Studio, and only as needed:

• Stripe (payments and billing) — see stripe.com/privacy;
• Netlify (website hosting) and Google Fonts (web fonts);
• X and Google/Gmail (messaging and email), when we communicate with you there.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or others' safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business (in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information).

4. How long we keep it

We keep project files and messages while you're a client and for up to 12 months after, so we can support you if you return. We keep billing records as long as tax and accounting laws require (typically up to 7 years). You can ask us to delete your files and messages sooner; see section 6.

5. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards, including two-step login on our accounts. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you as required by law.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you non-essential messages, by emailing slipstudiohq@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days (45 days where the law allows) and won't treat you differently for making a request. Depending on where you live (for example, California or other U.S. states with privacy laws, or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights, including the right to know what we collect and to appeal a decision about your request. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep information we're legally required to retain, such as billing records.

7. Children

Our services are for adults only. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

8. International users

We're based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the U.S. and other countries. By using our services, you understand your information may be processed outside your country.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date. If changes are significant, we'll let active clients know.
